We went with Simone after attending our friends wedding and trying their cake! I was a pain and kept changing my mind on the design and Simone was so great and accommodating. We decided on the raspberry and white chocolate mud cake and it did not disappoint! We had guests saying it was quite possibly the best cake they’d ever eaten! It was just delicious. Can’t recommend Simone and her beautiful cakes enough! We ordered not one, but three different cakes in differing styles and flavours for our wedding, and nothing was too much or difficult! The flavours were amazing – all our guests were commenting on how delicious the cakes were.
Simone’s communication was excellent and she was extremely helpful with suggestions on what might compliment our ideas (she’s an expert!). Simone also contacted our florist so that they could provide suitable flowers for the cakes.

I cannot speak more highly of my experience with Cakes by Simone. In the planning process for our wedding cake, Simone was prompt with her email responses and the booking process was smooth. She also worked with our venue coordinator to arrange the cake delivery on our wedding day. Upon seeing the cake at our reception I was floored with how spectacular it looked! It was even better than I had hoped. The taste of the cake was AMAZING and many of our guests went out of their way to comment on how great they thought it was. We also got to choose a different flavour for each tier which was such a bonus. I would recommend Cakes by Simone to anyone looking for a wedding/ event cake. – Rachael
