Hi, my name is Simone and I’m the creator behind Cakes By Simone.
I’m a qualified chef with over 30 years of experience, having worked in Australia and overseas. I previously owned and ran cafés in Brisbane for eight years, but after many long days and seven-day weeks, I chose to step back so I could spend more time with my family and focus on what I truly love, cake making and decorating.
I’ve been making and decorating cakes for around 18 years and still love how much happiness a cake can bring to people. Every cake is made with care and attention to detail, and no two are ever the same.
Cakes By Simone services the Brisbane and Gold Coast regions and was proudly voted Brisbane’s and Redlands’ Best Cake Maker in 2023.
